Founded in 1970 TGLS is an independent tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization designed to provide the highest quality language and cultural program for students while keeping expenses and tuition as low as possible. Our program can introduce German as a second language to American children and adults, as well as help children of Austrian, German and Swiss backgrounds improve their knowledge of language and culture.
The Tacoma German Language School is hiring Teachers and Substitute Teachers for fall term 2007
Fall term 2007 begins September 8, 2007.
The school is in session 2.5 hours on Saturday mornings
(9.30 am noon).
The teachers will teach German language to children or adults.
Minimum qualification:
- Excellent knowledge of the German language
- Good to excellent interpersonal skills with children or adults
- Cooperative attitude
- Teaching experience desirable
